Narrative Still Life

1. These objects represent me because I like money, I wear Vans more than any other shoe, I'm currently planning on going to SBCC, I use hair ties for my bun, I have a car and driver's license, I have my blue belt that has been with me forever, and lastly, I have some Native American ancestry in me that I'm proud of.
2. I like the organization of the items the best.
3. I used variety in the color, emphasis with certain items, and form with the foreground and background.
4. I could make my items pop out of the image just a little bit more.
5. Possibly some of them, but not all of them. Some items last forever, but some wear out and can't be used anymore.

Forced Perspective

1. The egg shot is the most believable because she could actually be holding a large plastic egg above her head.
2. The last shot is the most interesting because it's as if a giant is picking her up.
3. It was difficult to think of ideas for the shots.

Product Ad

1. I used Expo markers because they have a lot of color, which is fun for ads.
2. My big idea was to promote the color in the markers.
3. I used a rainbow theme with diffused lighting from the side.

Abstract Blog Assignment

1. My favorite image is the keyhole image because it allows you to see something you normally couldn't see, the inside of a keyhole.
2. The keyhole image shows form, color, and texture very well.
3. The principles used in the keyhole image are contrast and emphasis.
4. My favorite image and filter combination is the keyhole image because the filter gives it a variety of colors on the metal.

Still Life and pg. 260

1. My still life represents the adventurous attitude you should have towards life represented by the adventurous nature of flying.
2. The lighting in this image is direct.
3. The composition could be improved in the phone shot by changing the position of the plane and diffusing the light more.

Burst Sequence

1. My favorite part of this image is the tightness of the shots, like how close to each other the bodies are.
2. The most difficult part of this process was working with the layer masks.
3. The easiest part of this process was taking the photos.

Water Droplets

1. Yeah, with the DSLR's on the tripods it was easy to get a good shot.
2. I like the look the flash puts on the water and the droplet.

1. It was tougher to get a good shot compared to Station #1, because of the dye being unpredictable, but it still turned out nice.
2. I liked shooting without the flash for ease, but it doesn't look as cool with the flash.

1. It was tough to get a good shot, but the shutter speed was fast enough and we got lucky with this shot, because the water droplet hasn't broken the surface tension of the water yet.
2. I liked how fast it could pick stuff up, but it wasn't very steady due to it being handheld.

1. It was tough to get a good shot, but this one turned out nice with the reflection against the mirror below.
2. We framed it so the reflection could make something cool.

Motion Blur

1. I think my image looks real because the blur makes it seem like the car is drifting around the corner.

Green Screen

1. The hardest part was making the person fit where you want.
2. I like the use of the same person in both podiums.
3. Make sure there's no green around the subject.

Surreal Photo

1. The copy and paste keys to take pixels to fill in his fishing pole and cover his boots.
2. The best part is his boots being behind the grass.
3. It wasn't too difficult, but making it look perfect was tough.

4. I could've used higher resolution images to make the grass look more realistic.

Starbottle

1. How to effectively use clipping masks, level adjustments and layer masks.
2. 29
3. I liked this assignment because it was different than any other project we've done so far.

Challenge Photo

1. I like the reflection the best.
2. This shot is amazing because it makes you look hard to discover what the reflection is of, but you can also look at the whole photo and it looks nice.
3. I used the emphasis technique.
4. It was a challenge because I didn't have a lot of good subject matter to work with, but I was still able to get a great shot.
5. My element of art is form and my principle of art is emphasis.

Landscapes

1. For the last image I did, but the others didn't have a main centerpiece to put on a line.
2. I used contrast, repetition, and emphasis.
3. The first 2 were taken in the morning and the last was taken mid-day.
4. I used the foreground/background relationship to emphasize the contrast between sky and land.

Edge Burn

Channel Mixer

Lab Color Method

Gradient Map

Desaturation Method

1. I think the Lab Color method produced the best results for me.
2. Yes, I did. The Lab Color method provided the most range though.

Landscape Detail

1. It was cool, it makes it easy to get the close-up shot you want.
2. My favorite shot is the one with the tree leaf. It's my favorite because it is positioned the best of all the shots and it's the cleanest looking.
3. The one with the leaf shows the best example of the rule of thirds.
